Building Smarter, Better, and Faster

Utilizing technology allows us to address potential conflicts before setting foot on site. Coordinated, isometric details help solve tricky conditions and foster greater communication among the various building trades. We use technology to analyze information, streamline scheduling and reduce interferences during construction to help avoid any disruption or delays. A listing of our technology resources is below.

Our Tech Stack

  • For project management, Level 5, Inc. uses Procore, a cloud-based construction management software. This program facilitates document management, RFI’s, submittals, contract and change management, scheduling, bid management, daily logs, and photo archiving and BIM models for MEP coordination. All of our project communication is done through this site and we have found it do be a critical component to running an organized project.

  • We use Plexxis as our accounting and estimating software.

  • PlanGrid is construction productivity software. The platform provides real-time updates and seamless file synchronization over Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

  • Bluebeam Revu is a collaboration PDF creation tool that tracks changes, annotations, and generates reports.

  • We use Revit for Building Information Modeling. With BIM we can construct the building in 3D, exactly as it will be built, in effect, creating a virtual prototype of the building. This allows us to address clashes and mitigate conflicts before setting foot on site.

  • On-Screen Take-off is an estimating software that allows us to work faster and effectively.

  • Sketch Up Pro allows us to create 3D models of buildings, furniture, interiors, landscapes, and more.

  • AutoCad is a computer-aided design software that helps create precise 2D and 3D drawings.

  • Our Project Managers use Microsoft Project to manage and update the project schedule.

The health and safety of our employees and the people in the communities where we live and work is our highest priority. Level 5 is closely monitoring COVID-19 and following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and OSHA, as well as state and local governments.

We have comprehensive safety practices and are promptly adding the most current recommendations related to making our job sites and offices safe as related to COVID-19.

Our practices include key elements such as:

  • Social distancing protocols
  • Face coverings
  • Cleaning and disinfecting procedures
  • Extended training, monitoring, and reporting
  • Exposure risk assessment tools

To date, construction has consistently been designated as essential throughout the various county and state orders. This means that it is anticipated we will continue to provide our services to build the infrastructures in a way that provides for the greatest level of health and safety for our employees and the community. This includes continuing to follow the guidelines of the CDC and OSHA as well as state and local governments. We also understand the challenges this crisis brings to our employees, and therefore, the importance of maintaining our operations in order to help sustain the livelihoods of our employees.
